How to Buy a JAMB e-PIN
Get your JAMB profile code before you buy an e-PIN. An e-PIN bought first cannot be registered against a profile you do not have yet. Our JAMB e-PIN is not on sale here yet — this page explains the correct order regardless of where you buy.

Step 1: get your profile code
Do this before anything else. Two ways:
- Text your NIN to 55019. JAMB sends your profile code by SMS.
- Or create a profile on the JAMB portal directly, using your NIN and biometric details.
Keep the profile code somewhere safe. You need it for every step that follows.
Step 2: buy the e-PIN that matches what you need

These are JAMB's own published fees. Any price you pay should be close to these plus a reseller margin — be wary of a price far below them.
Step 3: register on the JAMB portal
- Log in to the JAMB portal with your profile code.
- Enter your e-PIN.
- Complete the registration form: subject combination, exam centre, and other required details.
- Submit and keep your registration confirmation.
Why the order matters
An e-PIN activates a registration session tied to your profile code. Buy the PIN before you have a profile code, and there is nothing to attach it to — you end up holding a PIN you cannot use until you register a profile, by which point the process has cost you extra steps for no reason. Profile code first, PIN second.
