How to Check Your NABTEB Result Online

NABTEB results are checked on the NABTEB e-portal with a result checker card. Buy the card, enter your examination number and PIN on the portal, and print the slip.

A NABTEB scratch card costs ₦1,100 here and checks one candidate's result five times.

What you need

• Your NABTEB candidate number, from your registration slip (the portal's example is 8 digits).
• The exam year.
• Your exam window: MAY/JUN or NOV/DEC (or Modular, GCE A-Level, Common Entrance).
• A NABTEB result checker card: its serial number and PIN. The portal asks for both.

Steps

1. Open the NABTEB e-portal at eworld.nabteb.gov.ng and use the Online Result Checker form on the home page.
2. Enter your candidate number exactly as on your registration slip (the portal's own example is an 8-digit number such as 38001178).
3. Select the examination type: MAY/JUN, NOV/DEC, Modular (March, June or December), GCE (A-Level) or Common Entrance. Picking the wrong window is the usual reason the portal finds no result.
4. Select the examination year.
5. Enter the card serial number (letters followed by digits, printed on the card) and then the PIN. NABTEB asks for both.
6. Submit the form to view your result. You can also tick the option to have it sent to your email.

One PIN, one candidate, five checks

A NABTEB result checker PIN checks one candidate's result up to five times. It does not carry over to a different candidate's registration number.
