How to Check Your NECO Result Online

You need a NECO result token. Use it on results.neco.gov.ng, or send it by SMS if you do not have data. Both methods use the same token.

What you need before you start

Method 1: the NECO portal

  1. Buy a NECO result token. It arrives on screen and by email as soon as your payment clears.
  2. Open results.neco.gov.ng.
  3. Enter your exam number and exam year.
  4. Enter your token.
  5. Submit the form to view your result.
  6. Print or screenshot the result. You have four more checks left if you need them.

Method 2: SMS

If you cannot get online, send this text message to 32327:

NECO*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear

Replace ExamNo with your exam number, PIN with your token, and ExamYear with the year you sat the exam. NECO texts your result back to the number you send from.

One token, one candidate, five checks

A single NECO result token checks one candidate's result up to five times, by either method. It will not work for a second candidate's exam number — buy a separate token for each candidate.

Questions people ask

How many times can I check with one NECO result token?
Five times, for one candidate, on results.neco.gov.ng. Each attempt uses up one check.
Does the SMS method cost extra?
The SMS itself is billed by your network at your normal SMS rate. The token is what you pay us for.
Can I use the token for SSCE, GCE and BECE results?
Yes — the same token type works across NECO exams. Select the correct exam and year on the portal so it matches your registration.
What if results.neco.gov.ng says my token is invalid?
Retype it carefully — tokens mix letters and numbers and are easy to mistype. If it still fails, message us on WhatsApp with your order reference.
Is Awajis Pay the official NECO checking site?
No. We sell the token. You check your result on results.neco.gov.ng, which NECO runs.
